Roy Walker Communications, Inc. (RWC) was founded by Roy and Linda Walker in January 1975. Along with the Motorola Service Shop (MSS) designation came a huge responsibility to maintain and service Motorola two-way radio users throughout the area.
The desire to serve with integrity and excellent customer service was there at the beginning and is still there today. In 2018, Roy Walker decided to retire, and the business was purchased by April and Richie Mills. April has a clerical background and Richie has served as a senior technician for many years at RWC.
By having a full-service location south of Carbondale, Illinois and another in Mount Vernon, Illinois, RWC can provide sales and services as needed, wherever needed. We are available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Our goal is to provide a high-quality product or service at a fair price, with exceptional customer service. RWC is southern Illinois’ only “Motorola Authorized” sales and service dealer for the complete line of products offered by Motorola Solutions.
